So, there has been this slide projector reel that has been sitting in the band hall for about 20 years. I took some time this extended break to scan all the slides and it was worth it! If you were in the band in these years, please comment and tell me your stories! Click in the Gallery Below to View the Image

I was a senior in the year 1999-2000. The band was my life! I played baritone saxophone in high school. Band was a special time of family that stick through hard times. One of my favorite trips was to the Alamo. I still enjoy playing band instruments.

Nice! Any chance of a download zip? I'd totally post these to a Facebook album (assuming I have permission to do so).

I was a freshman in 2000, so this was one year before me, but I loved seeing these! So many friends in photos I have never seen before. Thank you for sharing!

My sophomore year I had issues with my wrists and couldn't play the flute anymore, so I was switched to percussion. I played several things including the keyboard, xylophone, bass drum, and gong! This was the year the whole halftime show was Top Gun themed (if I have my years right but I feel like I remember playing the gong to the Top Gun Anthem ha). Thanks for posting! Cannot believe these photos are 20 years old...

Thank you for taking the time to digitize these & post them 😀. Looking back I remember having a ton of fun and I appreciate the good times. We were so alive & excitable, and we had a good band! 20 years. It’s also hard realizing how foolish I was as a young man but that’s life 😁. Thanks again, this is a real treat!

Stumbled onto this after sadly reading about Mr. R's passing. It was great to see these photos. I'm surprised that me in the purple alien costume apparently made the cut.

Thanks for posting these - saw some familiar faces. I was Kelly's assistant 1998-1999.

Thank you for posting these. I was in EHS Band 94-98, and I saw this posted to Facebook to honor Mr. Rushfeldt, so I came looking for any archive photos. Kelly was a great director (and had some fun trying to teach the flags some moves!) Thank you for taking the time to digitize and share these!
